Personnel Announcement - Rashal AbedWe are pleased to announce that Rashal Abed has joined the FloNergia team as a Product Development Engineering Specialist (part-time). Rashal most recently graduated from the University of Guelph with a Masters in Science in Mechanical Engineering. Rashal has deep expertise in thermal fluids and energy systems. During the past 5 years, while working as a research associate at the University of Guelph, Rashal has been involved in the design, development and operation of multiphase flow systems. Rashal has extensive experience in various industrial projects including aquaculture cage field trials, pulsating airlift pump designs for food applications, oxygen mass transfer and CO2 stripping behaviour. Rashal has published a number of academic papers and presented at international scientific conferences.
Rashal will work closely with Josh Rosettani, Applications Engineering Specialist and Brian Polowniak, VP of Sales and Marketing, regarding customer applications of our products, as well as working closely with Dr. Wael Ahmed, CTO, on specific FloNergia R&D projects. Product pledge: If your FloNergia pump fails during the first year of purchase, we will replace it, so long as it has been used in a reasonable manner. If you have used/maintained it for applications for which we have specified it, it will be deemed to have been used reasonably. Similarly, if it has been used/maintained in accordance with operating conditions for which it has been rated by FloNergia, it will be deemed to have been used reasonably. All other risks are borne by the purchaser, including but not limited to loss and/or damage associated with non-performance of the pumps.
